Blip dip shipped!

Guess who's back? Guess who's back? der der der der de, de, de, de

We are back in the game. After dropping $300 from the roll the challenge looked doomed to fail. With the $450 left after, let's call it 'the drunken mishap' i had to graft the HU tables and build the roll back up to a playable amount. The graph below, at the latter stages, shows the drop and comeback and now the $50 - $10,000 target is back on the right tracks.

With $706.92 in the account i have decided to give up on the old roulette and craps and will stick to punting on Betfair for a bit of a laugh. Hopefully this will ensure that this account is ONLY FOR POKER. I have been flirting the rules somewhat, playing $50+4 HU's and a losing run could have busted me. I think these stakes are both manageable and beatable though and now the roll is a little beefier i will continue with these. I still cannot believe the quality of play on the site, it really is shit. I cannot even talk about any hands of note because you can get away with aggressive ABC poker quite easily. There is so much value on this site too, absolute little goldmine, and i will be dipping into MTT's with money added and the re-buys often when a good opportunity arises.

In other news, i had an awesome days punting yesterday winning the best part of £2k on the tennis. I layed Daveydenko at 1.18, bet the beautiful Hantuchova at 1.48 and went DEEP on Nicolas Almago at 1.46 later on at night. I came back from the pub a little worse for wear and switched on the computer to see him in a third set tie-break. He had been matched as low as 1.04 but was now 1.36, so i went in again and layed back at 1.12 before he went on to win - SUPERB. Stuck a bit on Tommy Haas and Hantuchova today as i have a day off work and will play a little poker too. Oh yeah, Dream Team tonight (not the crap prog. on Sky but a poker league) And bugger me do we need some points!!!!!!

So the recovery mission went well and now i can look forward to building a $1k roll, only $300 to go but it has been difficult making this next step. Nothing but the 'A' game will suffice and i think i play my best poker when i am not pissed - this is an important realisation.
